Center fielder Jim Edmonds smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at the ballpark as
the Detroit Iron Gloves beat the Burbank Tigers 13 to 6.

Edmonds had a big day at the plate.  He cracked a solo homerun in the 1st
inning, stroked a single scoring a run in the 4th inning and cleared the
fences for a two-run home run (his 21st of the season) in the 6th inning.
Overall Detroit out-hit Burbank 14 to 11.  

Ugueth Urbina(1-3) allowed no runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory.
Scott Elarton(0-3) absorbed the loss.  He served up 3 homeruns in his 3 and
